New Work from New York

Some exciting news all the way from New York is that 2019 will be the year that begins with two new projects from two New York writers. The first is a short play called 'Scar Tissue' written by Victoria Fragnito and directed by Francesca Di Cesare. It will be hosted by the Old Joint Stock theatre as part of their Open Doors project. Having been performed earlier this year in NY City, it is set to have a UK premiere reading with full UK cast before further development.

Also, very exciting work on the horizon for the immediate post-Christmas slump: I have been cast as Joanne in Mob Wife, a new musical from writers Michael Mott & Corey Skaggs. Again, having had a reading in NY, Michael is now hoping that a fuller production can be put on its feet in London to lead to further development on the show. Mob Wife will have its premiere at the end of January at the Cockpit theatre in London. A little trip back to 70s Staten Island sounds like a dream start to the New Year. Let's hope there's more of these transatlantic collaborations on the horizon.
